iGuzzini product design wins again

For the second year running, various products by iGuzzini illuminazione - a leading international company in the architectural lighting sector - won the German Design Award 2019. A jury selected the Lander, Walky and Quid lighting solutions as winners of the Excellent Product Design Award in the Lighting category, while View and The Blade received Special Mention.

Inaugurated in 2012, the German Design Award is one of the most acclaimed product design awards in the world. Every year it appeals to an increasing number of both industry professionals and members of the general public. The prize was awarded by the German Design Council, an institution founded in 1953. Every year, it rewards not only the most original contemporary design, but above all, highly innovative products used to create representative and iconic projects. The award ceremony will be held in Frankfurt on 8 February 2019 at the Ambiente, an international trade fair for consumer items.
