Today, at our headquarters in Recanati, we had the pleasure of welcoming Tino Kwan, internationally acclaimed lighting designer and founder of Tino Kwan Lighting Consultants. The meeting, themed “Contemporary Approach to Lighting”, provided insights into current lighting trends, with a particular focus on the Asian market.
During the session, Kwan shared his perspective on the evolution of lighting design, emphasizing the importance of a contemporary approach that combines aesthetics, functionality, and technological innovation. Emerging trends in Asia, marked by a growing emphasis on sustainability and cultural integration, were central to the discussion.
Our collaboration with Tino Kwan has a rich history, dating back to the late 1970s. Together, we have undertaken significant projects such as the MGM in Macau, the Mandarin Regional Executive Office, the Four Seasons Hotel, the Indigo Hotel, the Loewe boutique, and the Mango Tree restaurant in Hong Kong.
The meeting was an important opportunity for exchange and professional growth, strengthening the bond between our company and one of the greatest masters of contemporary lighting. A cultural moment dedicated to the culture of light, where we explored the social value of lighting design, the relationship between light and architecture, and the role light can play in generating well-being and beauty in the spaces we inhabit.
